I'm Here!

I've arrived in Hanoi, with luggage, after a more or less uneventful flight. Had a bit of a snafu with my hotel since the driver wanted to take me to one of the 3 other hotels in the chain despite all the written confirmations I had received. After a lot of checking and a call to my agency (to make sure a switch would not be a problem), I ended up in the new recommended hotel in a MUCH nicer room. All's well that ends well!

I'm having some trouble updating my blog from Vietnam - seems that it may be partly blocked. This post is coming through a very backdoor method and not one I hope to use in the long run.

Ok, off to take a shower
